The young man from the northern city of Perugia, the chocolate capital of Italy, had a special Easter egg made containing an engagement ring set with small diamonds. But he forgot that his beloved did not like dark chocolate, Italian television reported, without giving the young lovers‘ names. Without telling her boyfriend, the woman took the egg to a shop to exchange it for a milk chocolate version. When they realised what had happened, the couple rushed back to the shop to find the special egg had been sold. Luca Maori, a lawyer acting for the young woman, has launched an appeal for the return of the holiday sweet. But the ring itself may again head back to a shop. The lovers have since parted ways.
