LONDON (Reuters) - England soccer star David Beckham reacted furiously when Manchester United ordered him to cut short his honeymoon with bride Posh Spice and return to training, the Sun reported on Friday. The top-selling tabloid said United manager Sir Alex Ferguson refused to give Beckham an extra three days off, forcing the player to cancel a 10-day honeymoon holiday on a paradise isle in the Indian Ocean. Beckham, who married Spice Girl Victoria Adams in a celebrity-studded extravaganza in Ireland at the weekend, would now have to fly out with the rest of the United squad on Monday for a pre-season tour of Australia and China, the Sun said. It said the player, known to his fans as "Becks", was forced to rent a private love-nest in southern Europe at the last minute so he could get back to Britain in time. "To say that David was upset is an under-statement," an unidentified United source was quoted as saying. "He and Victoria found out shortly before the wedding that they had to cancel the holiday. They were livid." No comment was immediately available from United.
