PARIS (Reuters) - Police said on Monday they seized 804 kg (1,773 pounds) of cocaine at the weekend in a private home in a Paris suburb in one of the largest drug hauls ever made in France. Ten people were detained for questioning after the seizure in Noisy-le-Sec east of Paris, including a Frenchman with a record of previous drug arrests and a Colombian believed to have entered France from Spain, a police source said. "This proves that producers are trying to export into the European market," the source told Reuters. A search of the Frenchman‘s home in the eastern suburb of Bandy turned up several M16 assault rifles, the source said.
