The ArtsLink Residencies program offers felloship for artis and managers in 5-week residency (in late October to early december 1999) at an established, non-profit organization in US. ArtsLink Fellow will have opportunities for an interaction with local artists and art organizations. Awards are made to the US host organization to cover living and working expenses for the 5-week recidency. Aifare, health insurance and subsistance for ArtsLink Fellow meetings, which take place in New York just after arrival in the US and just before departure from the US, are provided directly to ArtsLink Fellows.
Fluent English is required.
Independent Partnerships provides funding to artists and arts managers who propose independent projects involding US arts organizations. Designed to address the interests of well established, mature professionals who have developed collegial relations with institutions in the US, this program funds self directed, project-based undertakings that further the exchange of skill, information and understanding. Awardees will be responsible for arranging all details of the project including all travel and housting arrangements. ArtsLink provides the awardee with health insurance and facilitate visa arrangements.
Proposals must be troughly researched and clearly describe the project. They must include a detailed budget that indicates exact resources and expenses. Project may commence at any time from June 1, 1999 through May 31, 2000 and can be from 3-8 weeks in leghts. Awards will be made up to 5, 000 USD.
