LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Entertainer Barbra Streisand and actor James Brolin will be married later this week, possibly as early as Wednesday, reports said on Tuesday as a small army of workmen descended on her Malibu estate bearing flowers, tables and chairs. Workmen set up a big white tent on the grounds and Streisand‘s longtime musical associate, composer Marvin Hamlisch, showed up amid reports that he was organising the music for the event. Daily Variety senior columnist Army Archerd said the wedding would be on Wednesday afternoon in Malibu while local TV stations quoted her publicist as saying the wedding would take place „sometime this week.“ The 55-year-old singer-actress-director, whose films include „Funny Girl“ and „Yentl,“ and the 57-year-old actor, who appeared in the long running TV series „Marcus Welby, M.D.,“ met 18 months ago and were engaged earlier this year. Brolin co-starred with Robert Young on the ABC medical drama „Marcus Welby, M.D.“ (1969-1976) and starred opposite Connie Sellecca on the ABC dramatic series „Hotel“ (1983-1988). His role as Dr. Steven Kiley on „Marcus Welby“ won Brolin an Emmy in 1970 for supporting role in a drama. He was married twice before and Streisand was married once before. Her marriage to actor Elliott Gould ended in 1971.
