BRATISLAVA (SITA) - Spokesman for Slovak Rail in Žilina informed SITA news agency that rail traffic has been resumed at 13:10 on the route from Žilina to Liptovsky Mikuláš after police searched the track and found no explosive device. On Monday morning, an anonymous bomb threat caused disruption of traffic on the main railway route in Slovakia from 8:08 a. m. Employee of the Central Station in Žilina received an anonymous phone warning that an explosive device has been placed on the railway track from Žilina to Liptovský Mikuláš. For this reason, trains have been stopped on route from Žilina to Bratislava, as well as the north route for Čadca and Rajec. Units of Rail Police have searched the route together with army specialists and the police.
