Cabinet Vice Chairman Sergej Kozlík, Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Family Vojtech Tkáč, and Economy Minister Milan Cagala also showed up. Mečiar, to his followers, declared the movement's interest in "having a stable Slovakia," so the "voice of the HZDS will be heard more frequently." Mečiar says the HZDS is not a movement but, first of all, an alternative for a free and independent Slovakia. He says the most important happening to come is the HZDS republican board meeting where the movement will elaborate its program; however, it won't publish it because other parties might copy it from them, "as they usually do." Mečiar said the Slovak Democratic Coalition is a "disposable grouping like a p astic cup or toilet paper." He also warned about the immense internal political fight within the Christian-Democratic Movement. He explained that the group led by Ivan Šimko pushed out Ján Čarnogurský from politics. Commenting on the Party for Civil Understanding, Mečiar said it has not emerged at a Slovak order, but it was ordered abroad. He says the party does not have any structure or program, and it cannot ride only on a couple of personalities.
