WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Stressing a business as usual approach, aides to President Bill Clinton said he followed nearly six hours of testimony on Saturday in a sexual harassment lawsuit with a briefing on Asia's economic crisis. Upon returning to the White House after testifying before Paula Jones on her lawsuit, Clinton "went to the Oval Office and received an update on Asia," spokesman Joe Lockhart said. Clinton also was given a draft proposal for his State of the Union address to the nation later this month, Lockhart said. Throughout his legal battle with Jones, Clinton has stressed the duties of the presidency have made it difficult for him to focus on the lawsuit.
