LILLE, France (Reuter) - Two French schoolgirls who were fans of the rock band Nirvana died in what police suspected was a copycat suicide modelled on the 1994 death of lead singer Kurt Cobain, judicial sources said on Thursday. The two girls, aged 13 and 12, left a note saying they were fans of the U.S. grunge rock group but no other explanation for their deaths on Wednesday in Somain, northern France. The two died of bullet wounds to the head from a pistol owned by one of their fathers. Cobain died in 1994 from a shotgun blast to the head in his mansion on the shores of Lake Washington.
