SALZBURG SEMINARS FOR PHYSICIANS
Open Society Fund would like to inform you about the Salzburg Seminars for Physicians. Program focuses on presenting to young doctors current medical knowledge and techniques in designated fields of medicine. The selected candidates will attend a week-long seminar in their speciality held in 1996 in Salzburg, Austria.
The seminars will be held in the following areas:
General Internal Medicine - May 19 - 24, 1996
Pediatric Nephrology & Gastroenterology - June 2 - 7, 1996
Infectious Diseases & Epidemiology - July 14 - 19, 1996
Otorhinolaryngology - August 25 - 30, 1996
Psychiatry & Psychotherapy - September 29 - October 4, 1996
To be eligible applicants must:
be a licensed physician
specialise in subject of seminar
preferably be under 40 years of age
have strong communication skills in the English language
be recommended for the fellowship by the professional association
be committed to passing the knowledge they gain abroad to fellow physicians MEDICAL STUDENTS ARE NOTELIGIBLE.
